Paper or iPad
The pitch book, without the print run.
Printing and binding
- Print and bind every book the night before.
- Reprint them all when a number moves.
- Books leave the room with whoever picks them up.
- Collect and shred the ones left behind.
DeckSync
- Export one PDF and import it on your iPad.
- Export the new PDF and present that one instead.
- On your firm's iPads, the deck leaves with you.
- Delete it from the viewer iPads when the meeting is done.
In the meeting
Your deck, on your terms.
-
Last-minute changes
Numbers updated the morning of the meeting? Export the final PDF and open it on your iPad. Every viewer that does not have that version receives it when it joins.
-
Control of the deck
On firm-owned iPads, the deck goes only to the devices in your session and leaves the room with them. There is no book left behind and no attachment to forward. Afterward, delete it from each viewer iPad's library, one deck or all of them.
A guest who joins on their own iPad or iPhone keeps a copy of the PDF after the session, the same as an emailed deck.
For IT and compliance
What your CTO and CCO will ask.
No accounts
There is no DeckSync account to create. Open the app and present, or join.
No cloud
Decks travel only between the devices in the session, over your local network or device to device. DeckSync uploads nothing. Like other files on the iPad, decks are included in its iCloud or computer backup, which your MDM can manage.
Nothing collected
No analytics, no crash reporting, no third-party SDKs. The App Store privacy label reads Data Not Collected. Your subscription is handled by Apple, and a diagnostic log goes to support only if you choose to email one.
Encrypted with a PIN
With a session PIN, everything the session sends is encrypted with a key derived from it. Without one, anyone with DeckSync on the same network can discover the session and read the deck.
